Philadelphia Family Pride is proud to present a School Fair for LGBTQ Communities on Saturday, April 29th from 12-2pm at the William Way LGBT Center at 1315 Spruce Street in Center City Philadelphia. This event will feature representatives from public, charter and private schools that cover all ages and grades as well as homeschool information.
The event is a free, drop-in event and intended for LGBTQ parents, prospective parents, LGBTQ kids and youth as well as allies. For schools or homeschool program wishing to participate, the deadline to register was April 15th. You may still be able to squeeze your school in (especially if it’s a public school), so go ahead and register here and PFP will be in touch about space availability.
Schools and homeschool programs will also be providing PFP information on policies and practices they have implemented which will be compiled and published in a booklet to accompany the event.
As of April 6th, 12 schools have signed up to participate. See Philadelphia Family Pride’s website for a complete, up-to-date list.
Thank you to schools that have registered so far.
