The Independence Business Alliance Now Accepting Applicants for $10,000 LGBT+ Business Award
The Independence Business Alliance, Greater Philadelphia’s LGBT Chamber of Commerce, is accepting applications for an annual business award, according to an announcement on their website.
The award provides a $10,000 to an IBA Member-owned business (Business Level Membership or higher) that “demonstrates a well-defined plan for growth, including innovation, sustainability, and ongoing contribution to the community” according to their announcement. The award is sponsored by PNC Bank.
There are various qualifications nominees must meet. To be eligible, the business must be headquartered within the IBA’s geographic region (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, or Philadelphia counties, Pennsylvania; Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Mercer, or Salem counties New Jersey; or New Castle County, Delaware).
Interested businesses must submit applications, two letters of recommendation, and a mini plan by 5 p.m. on April 14th, 2017. For more information and to apply, please visit the official website.
