Organized by Twin Rivertown Projects, Inc.’s board of directors and numerous volunteers, the festival donates it proceeds to various community organizations. Past donation recipients include local food banks, schools, AIDS support non-profits, and fire, police, and rescue organizations.
The Festival will feature free, family-friendly activities such as theater and music performances, tours, and photography exhibits. Other free activities include ice sculpture displays, snowfolk art competitions, and a Read-A-Thon.
Visitors are invited to tour nearby art galleries, volunteer at the Fisherman’s Mark food pantry drive, or grab a hot cup of soup for a special rate through the Soup-A-Thon.
Guests can purchase tickets for a number of events such as the Chili Cook-Off, Beef’N’Brew, or Hawaiian Luau. Tickets are also required for the Historical Pub Crawl, Fire & Ice Ball, and Karaoke Night, among others.
The Winter Festival is sponsored by the First National Bank and Trust Co. of Newtown, Triumph Brewing Company, and the Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn, just to name a few.
