The second annual Chester County Pride Festival will happen on Saturday, June 3 from noon to 5 p.m. at Reeves Park.
The festival will have food, live music, vendors, family activities, giveaways, and more, according to organizers. A pub crawl will be held afterward for attendees over 21.
“I have felt more than comfortable making new friends here, and continue to leave each event with a huge smile on my face. There is always a genuine crowd of all ages, great food and drinks, music and a ton of dancing. I strongly encourage anyone and everyone in the community to support the cause and become a part of this awesome group,” Alyssa Dieter told the Phoenixville Patch of her past experience there.
The celebration continues on Sunday, June 4 at the Pride Gala, taking place at the Desmond Hotel in Malvern. Guests will enjoy dinner, dancing, auction, and raffles that benefit LGBTQ+ organizations.
