MALVERN, PA — Did you know studies have shown that gay and bisexual men, as well as transgender women, are more negatively impacted by the side effects of prostate cancer than straight men?
This Saturday, April 1st, join the third annual fundraiser event for Pennsylvania Prostate Cancer Coalition at The Desmond Hotel in Malvern, Bottoms Up for Prostate Cancer Awareness. It may be April Fools Day, but prostate cancer is no joke!
The fundraiser will feature entertainment including The Mike Caroto Band, caricature artist Dan Freed, and magician Steve Freidberg.
There will be a host of food stations for guests to serve themselves from, including a freshly shucked oyster bar, artist pallet of dips, rotating tapas & appetizers, sliders and small bites (pork belly sandwiches!), plenty of pasta (drunken macaroni & cheese with pretzel crust anyone?) plus yummy fun themed cake + chocolate – Stoudt brownies!
Some breweries featured include Victory, Conshohocken. Sly Fox, Roy Pitz. Zero Day, Dog Fish Head, 2SP Brewery, and Levante. Wine & Spirits will provide wine.

There will be an after-party will be hosted at the Fox & Hounds Pub with live entertainment and complimentary snacks!
Tickets are $60/single person, $100/couple, and for $209 there is a ‘Blue Ribbon Special’! Choosing the Blue Ribbon Special provides you with two tickets to the event, a sleepover at The Desmond, and brunch for two the next morning. Don’t drink and drive, take the elevator home!
